Company History
In 1979, ASSFALG Qualitätshydraulik was established as a retail trade in Unterwachingen by Elisabeth and Alois Assfalg.
At that time, the company focus was on auxiliary hydraulic equipment for agricultural vehicles.
Advertising from the 70s ... Universalboy - The log splitter
The market’s positive response enables the company to steadily and sustainably grow. And, after a few years, the increased demand for quality products and services in the area of hydraulics made the expansion to newer and bigger premises necessary. Therefore, in 1985, the company headquarters moved to a new and bigger location "Am Pfarrgarten 8".
In 1987 - The first hydraulic catalogue appears as an A4 folder – satisfied customers have been using it for years both to submit orders and as a reference book.
In 1991 - The building of another production hall takes place.
In 2003 - Alois Assfalg passes the company on to the next generation - namely, to his two sons Bernd and Andreas. Because of this, the company ASSFALG is converted to a GmbH & Co. KG.
In 2004 - Another building, for shipments, is constructed with approx. 1,100 m² of hall space, creating ideal conditions for warehousing and selling a wide range of hydraulic products.
In 2007 - The Department ‘Administration and Sales’ moves into a separate building with over 160 m² of office space.
In 2008 - The latest edition of the ASSFALG Hydraulic catalogue is published, and the production and storage hall is expanded by another 1,000 m² – in total, over 2,260 m² of space are now available for production, sale, and service.
In 2009 - ASSFALG goes online - http:// shop.assfalg.com
With its own internet shop, ASSFALG Qualitätshydraulik (Quality Hydraulics) presents itself online. Purchasers, manufacturers, OEMs, and reseller now can shop ASSFALG quality products online 24 hours a day. ASSFALG thus offers them a maximum of service, flexibility, and exclusivity. All internet shop orders are free of shipping costs.
Also another building for the aggregates production, mail-order business and as a warehouse extension was constructed in 2009.
In 2010 - ASSFALG presents its new website www.assfalg.com with a new and modern design. As a special feature, ASSFALG offers the possibility to compare products online, live website support, and free download of data sheets as well as CAD files.
